When you love the bike, nothing is an afterthought. There are two reasons we designed our own Centerlock lockring. The first is that we thought we could make it better. Precision threading, and precision knurling (It turns out, the precision of your knurling has a big impact on how secure your lockring stays.) that keep your lockring locked on, for better rotor alignment and better performance. The second is aesthetic, another pop of Chris King color, that ties the overall vibe together in a classy way. 

The King Centerlock lockring is aluminum with a steel crush washer and has a classic King lasermark to match our headsets and rims. It requires an external bottom-bracket tool for installation, the same tool as the ThreadFit 24 bottom bracket. It comes in 11 colors, all of the colors in the current King product assortment plus Two-Tone Black Gold for legacy bikes.
