Elite Installation / Maintenance Tips. 

- Grease bolt when installing. 

- Do not over torque. The top cap bolt should be tightened only enough to remove headset play, typically 1.6 Nm (15 in-lbs) if not otherwise specified. 

- These Top caps are painted. Do not scratch the top cap when installing, this would often lead to premature corrosion. 

- Remember to wipe down bike after use. Ride by the sea, or on the trainer? Consider a Carbon top cap alternative, we recommend the Carbon-Ti X-Cap.
