Dropset 5 is usually the headset needed for modern Specialized mountain bikes, due to the unique ream depth used on their bikes.

Not compatible with:
- 2021–2022 Stumpjumper EVO (Adjustable system)
- Chisel HT (Aluminium)
- Chisel FS (Full sus)
- All Pre-2020 frames that used a shallower ream depth.
(2.8mm-3.0mm, in this case, Dropset 2 would work)
- Specialized Road and Gravel bikes (ie, Tarmac SL7, SL8, SL9, Roubiax, Diverge etc) use a different headset specification.
We are not a Specialized dealer or representative, and specification on bikes do change with time. We always recommend physically measuring the bearings or check with your Specialized sales rep.
