Every now and then we get the privilege to build something crazy. Today, we got our hands on an AX Lightness Vial EVO D Frameset for a client who wanted some German engineered weightweenie madness.
The Frame weighed in at about 700 grams, a weight very close to our Parlee Altum which is slightly bigger in size. The Vial EVO D Frameset comes with a beautifully painted Scapula CT Fork from THM-Carbones. There is also a Vial EVO version that comes with a 3T Rigida Stealth Fork that weighs in at 340grams. The Scapula normally weighs in at 280grams, but this came in at about 300 grams with paint.. A little over the weight of an Altum fork (280grams).
