Base Plate Conversion
All of our headsets have been built to make your bike work and easy to work on. With this base plate conversion you can adjust your headset to work with any new fork or bike you get!
Headset base plate compatibility is as below:

HSRACE4030 adapts to a 1-⅛” (30mm) fork crown

HSRACE4033 adapts to a 1-¼” (33mm) fork crown
Our headset crown races are designed with a “split” to allow for tool-free installation and removal. We also offer 2 adapter races to allow you to run a 1-⅛” (30mm) or 1-¼” (33mm) fork on headsets that use certain lower cups (EC44, ZS56, IS52). On these headsets you can order any of the 3 crown races to be included in the complete headset and order the adapter race you need as a separate item. If you are simply replacing a crown race, identify your headset and steerer combination and select the correct race.
